Health Care
The NHS are moving away from hand written Patient Identification Wristbands following studies from the National Patient Safety Agency that showed many patient safety incidents were linked to incorrect or illegible details on the wristband. Manufacturers have aided the process with Anti-Microbial coated Data Terminals, Printers and Wrist Bands.
> Wrist Band; clear electronically produced wristbands with machine readable 2D barcode or RFID chip.
> Blood Tracking, Tracking the blood from donor to recipient.
> Sample Taking, Making sure the patient details are recorded accurately on the small sample is simplified with Handheld Terminals and mobile printers.
